Assistant Brand Marketing Manager - Beauty

The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in the execution of end-to-end marketing programs for the beauty category. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, the role will partner closely within the broader marketing ecosystem, developing close working relationships within the Merchandise team as well as with external beauty partners.

Working collaboratively to deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns, this role will suit an experienced marketer with a strategic mindset, and a customer-centric viewpoint, who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

What will the role involve?

• Marketing campaign planning and execution across above and below the line channels including digital, paid media, instore and events for a portfolio of brands
• Build relationships and collaborate with key internal stakeholders across trade, content, online and media departments, and external brand partners
• Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of business wide marketing campaigns, tactical promotions and other initiatives
• Assist the Marketing Manager with tasks that support the overarching David Jones marketing objectives and strategy such as budget tracking

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or similar
• 5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably with exposure to the beauty industry
• Proficient at multi-tasking, prioritizing time and managing deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously to a high standard in a fast-paced retail environment
• Keen attention to detail with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
