Job tasks and responsibilities

Due to Company growth, we are seeking to bring on a teachable and proactive Assistant Building Manager that has a desire to be part of the business's exciting development. Our portfolio has a range of building styles to stretch your capabilities and grow your experience. Our sites are located across Sydney, which provides great location prospects to meet work/study-life balance demands.
Role
The duties will include:
- Assist the Building Management team either on a specific site or across different sites
- Coordinate the day-to-day Building Maintenance reporting and ad-hoc duties under the interest of the company
- Commercial & Residential Strata facility upkeep, projects and maintenance management
- Retain and manage the Building/Construction specific compliance, certification and documentation by qualified and competent tradespeople/companies
- Service Contractor and in-house team management
- Internal and external Stakeholder management
- Coordination of cleaning and maintenance services
- Perform and manage the minor new works and capital expenditure forecasted works
- WHS & Security management
- Perform and take lead in reporting to stakeholders
- Learn to efficiently manage the contracted and company budgets, intentionally maintaining a positive financial position
- Assist the management of the Strata Plan Building/Facility Management requirements
- Manage reports and documentation relating to security, police and emergency incidents requiring Waterpoint Building Management involvement
