We are seeking a passionate Assistant Centre Director/Educational Leader to join our team at Mt Gravatt.
Our beautiful boutique centre is comprised of six rooms with additional spaces including an Art Studio and Dining Room. Our philosophy at Pod is to create a rich learning environment, in a calm, loving and nurturing setting.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an ECT or experienced Lead Educator to transition into a management position. Extensive training will be provided by the Centre Director and Director of Operations.
To be considered for the position you must have:
- A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree
- Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Current Blue Card
- A high-level understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Quality Improvement Plans (QIP)
- Well-developed of verbal and written communication skills
Duties for the role will include:
- Work alongside our existing management team to manage the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements, company policies and procedures
- Provide leadership and guidance to all staff
- Ensure that high quality early learning programs are delivered by a passionate team of educators
- Deliver consistent high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, families, children and the local business community
