Assistant Centre Manager

Due to internal growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Assistant Centre Manager to join the team at our Granville, Genius childcare centre.

Your new centre:

Genius Childcare we offer innovative and holistic early years education for preschool-aged children with state-of-art facilities and a diverse and thoughtful curriculum.

 We have a terrific outdoor play area for children to explore with a vegetable garden, a commercial kitchen and a modern and inspired learning environment. 
 

Your new role: 

• Be responsible for managing the operations of the centre, ensuring your centre complies with the standards set out by the NQF
• Lead, mentor, and develop your team using the Genius Learning Management System to ensure all our staff provide the highest quality learning and care for the children under our care
• Build strong relationships with families and the community. Manage open days, centre tours and orientation that will help your centre actively attract, convert and retain families.
• Work with your educators to ensure your team is providing a quality program that evolves to meet the highest standard.
• Collaborate with our Senior Educators and Leaders and support the centre to meet and exceed the NQS and constantly improve our programs.
• This role will also include some time working on the floor when required

What YOU need:

• Diploma-level early childhood qualification (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Relevant working with children checks, police checks, child protection course, First Aid and CPR including anaphylaxis and asthma
• You will have sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
