Are you an experienced early learning professional who's ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business?
As the Assistant Director, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre's local community.
In this role, you will:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Prospect
Goodstart Prospect is a 54-placed early learning and childcare centre situated approximately five kilometres from our beautiful city of Adelaide. Although Goodstart Prospect sits on the outskirts of a busy city we pride ourselves on our friendly and small community feel.
We are very proud to say that the centre received a rating of Exceeding, after being assessed by the regulatory authority. This process assesses us in the seven quality areas including Educational Practice, Children's Health and Safety, Physical Environment, Staffing Arrangements, Relationships with Children, Partnerships with Families and Leadership and Management. We are now in the process of applying for an Excellence rating.
Our dedicated team of educators come from diverse backgrounds who bring with them a variety of skills, knowledge and experiences.
