Immediate supervisor: Director CommunicationsUnder limited/general direction undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for the Parliamentary Executive Level 1 classification. The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:1. Managing and leading a small and dynamic team to develop and implement communication strategies and campaigns that reflect Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) priorities and strategic themes.2. Providing direction and advice to support team members in their career development.3. Supporting the implementation of strategic communications initiatives, including the development of key messages, internal communications activities, and other functions as required.4. Work with the Communications Director to prioritise the team's workload, ensuring seamless and effective internal and external messaging for DPS.5. Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across Parliamentary Departments and internally, to support outcomes and business requirements.6. As required, manage the development of design, advertising and other services, including procurement.7.
