This government agency is looking for an Assistant Director - Cyber Security to join their Cyber Security team in an initial 6-month contract role with room for extension. You will have the opportunity of working at a federal government agency located in Sydney CBD.
Your new role
As an Assistant Director, you will lead and mentor a small team of Cyber Security and compliance professionals conducting risk and compliance assessments of internal and external connections to the agency systems. You'll engage with both external and internal stakeholders while developing, implementing and maintaining Cyber Security Compliance Framework.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 3 years of experience in GRC, and experience assessing on-premises, cloud hosted and hybrid solutions.
Good knowledge of compliance frameworks, such as ACSC's ISM, AG's PSPF and ISO27000 series.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required.
You must be an Australian citizen to be eligible.
