An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative Nursing Education team
Ongoing, Full Time, Grade 5 role with a monthly ADO
The Royal Melbourne Hospital
As one of the largest health services in Victoria, and a team of more than 10,000 strong, we provide a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services; as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient and community programs. We are a designated state-wide provider for services including trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialties including neurosciences, nephrology, oncology, cardiology and virtual health.
Due to an internal transfer, an opportunity has arisen to lead the Professional Development Programs portfolio and a team of Clinical Nurse Educators & Support Nurses.
Your new team
A dedicated team of Assistant Directorsof Nursing, Clinical Nurse Educators and Support Nurses working together to deliver excellence in nursing education program delivery for RMH; including Entry to Practice, Transition to Practice, Post-Graduate, Simulation Education and Professional Practice.
The Department works collaboratively with the Clinical environment, Research, our Precinct partners and our University Affiliations to embrace innovation, diversity and evidence-based best practice and patient care.
Your success in this role, will be in your ability to
Provide program and operational leadership of The Transition to Practice Program at the Royal Melbourne Hospital to ensure evidence based best practice and contemporary models of clinical education.
Foster collaborative working relationships with internal and external partners in the delivery of best practice models of education and training program experience.
Influence the direction and delivery of excellence in nursing education that supports the delivery of safe, timely, effective and person centred care.
