Assistant Director Of Sales - Melbourne Airport

This role is primarily based at PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, which is conveniently located adjacent to Melbourne Airport. Featuring 276 guest accommodation rooms, 16 Meeting & Events Conference rooms and the Airo Restaurant & Bar, PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is the perfect landing place. 

Due to our swift growth we are currently on the look for an experienced Assistant Director of Sales to work with our Director of Sales & Marketing, this hands on role is based at the newly refurbished PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving strategic sales goals and assisting the sales team with day to day duties. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing, Victoria to develop and implement sales strategy.
• Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy.
• Responsible for ensuring overall revenue goals from the Corporate, Government, Crew, Wholesale, Government and Meeting and Events market segments are achieved.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and external stakeholders.

Ideally you will have:

• A strong passion for the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership skills
• Creative in formulating tactical and strategic sales roadmap
• Previous experience in a similar role. 
• Solid selling and negotiation skills
