Our client is a Federal Agency looking for an Assistant Director Research and Evaluation. The Evidence and Practice Leadership Branch is responsible for ensuring that agency policies, practices and priorities are informed by trustworthy and robust evidence. Are you passionate about and have experience in using a range of sophisticated methods including quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate programs and influence decision making? Paying $602.55 per day + 11% Super - assignment for 12 months, possibility of extension based on business needs.

About the Role:
The Assistant Director Research and Evaluation will manage an implementation and effectiveness evaluation of a pilot program for infants showing early behavioural signs of autism. This role is managing a large stakeholder base and working on evaluating the program and services, not researching.
- 3 levels of project - 1. Implementation and Scalability 2. Effectiveness 3. Service integration
- Framework is already designed and is in the Implementation stage
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with external and internal stakeholders to evaluate the program and services
- Preparing ethics and site governance applications
- Collecting and analysing a range of quantitative, qualitative and survey data
- Ensuring the evaluation is conducted in accordance with appropriate guidelines, standards and ethics requirements, and maintaining project related records
- Preparing and presenting reports and slide-pack summaries for internal and external stakeholders
- Working collaboratively with other teams
About you - essential skills:
- Experience in using a range of sophisticated methods including quantitative and qualitative methods inclinical trials
- Demonstrated ability to work with external and internal stakeholders across mutiple sites and teams
- Demonstrated experience delivering end to end formative and impact evaluations which have informed change
- Either an academic or evaluation qualifications (desirable)
- Experience designing evaluations and producing evaluation logics (desirable)
