At Redland Bay Early Education Centre, we are committed to providing our children with high quality care and education, and believe that this can be done in a way that is as positive and fun for our Educators, as it is for our children.
We are a family owned and operated Long Day Care service with a child-centred approach, and proudly work in partnership with our families to provide high quality care and education for our children, supporting and guiding them to develop their individuality as they discover knowledge, explore their own creativity and develop the self-confidence and skills they need to thrive. It is essential to this role that you possess excellent communication skills and the ability to develop positive, respectful relationships with colleagues, our children and our families.
You will hold:
- Cetrifcate 3(or actively working towards) or Diploma in Childcare
- Current Blue Card for child related employment
- Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis
Skills and Requirements:
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard/Framework (NQS/NQF)
- Good communication, verbal and computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word are a plus. We use the Storypark platform for sharing information with our families, however experience for this is not essential as we are happy to train you accordingly
- You should be a team-player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflects critically upon best practice
- Great attention to detail is important, and the ability to write quality Learning Stories and complete Centre documentation to a our standard is essential
- We require you to have a positive "can do" approach to the role, and demonstrate passion and dedication to the care and education of young children.
These positions are 5 days per week.
