The Role
An exciting opportunity to join Knight Frank as an Assistant Facilities Manager focusing on your assigned properties and ensuring that the client’s asset(s) are protected and enhanced. You will be responsible to operate within budget limits, authorities and procedures issued by Knight Frank, the client and the appropriate General Manager or Property Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing and implementing Planned Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Assist the Senior Facilities Manager (SFM) with daily functions of their role.
- High level of contract management and engagement.
- Undertake 6 monthly audits of all keys / access cards.
- Conduct regular inspections.
- Implement the Emergency Evacuation Training and Procedures for the building.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks from time to time, such as but not limited to, patch and painting damaged internal and external walling, remove and replace tiles, and carry out various types of maintenance and repairs.
Who are we looking for?
- Two to three years' work experience
- Tertiary qualifications (degree or diploma or other trade related course, e.g Electrical, building and construction) preferred but not essential.
- Minimum Year 10 High School.
- Ability to develop and build strong working relationships enabling Knight Frank to deliver excellence for our clients.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
