Job description

We seek an individual with a strong enthusiasm and authentic dedication to elderly care to join our team. Guyra MPS, a cozy facility, offers the opportunity to provide attentive care to our 17 residents. You'll collaborate with both a Registered Nurse (RN) and Enrolled Nurse (EN) to fulfil your responsibilities, which primarily involve delivering personalized care to our residents. Comprehensive orientation and abundant learning prospects are provided to support you in this role. Upon starting the role you will be fully supported by your team with a thorough orientation and extensive learning opportunities throughout your employment.

Located in the picturesque New England Tablelands region of New South Wales, Guyra stands as the highest town in the area, boasting a scenic backdrop that often transforms into a winter wonderland with snowfall during the colder months. This charming locale is renowned for its local gems such as the Guyra Historical Museum and the breathtaking Mother of Ducks Lagoon Nature Reserve, nestled within a volcanic crater spanning 14km in circumference. Easily accessible, Guyra is approximately a 6-hour drive from Sydney and a 5-and-a-half hour drive from Brisbane.

Offering a diverse range of community-based health services alongside an equipped emergency department, our facility also houses 17 aged care beds, ensuring comprehensive care for residents and visitors alike.

  • his position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.
