Job Description
An excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Key Account Manager to make a difference in our dynamic team at Robert Bosch Australia. As a critical part of the Power Tools arm of Bosch; you will bring your high level of interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities to form deep and collaborative relationships with our Key Account partners while fostering positive internal relationships within the Bosch Team. Strategy and detail will be key to your success in creating growth across existing and new markets.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in and will involve occasional domestic and potentially some international travel.
Position responsibilities will include:
- Drive profitable sustainable growth for both Bosch and the customer.
- Support and drive select Key Accounts while working with the current Key Account Managers within the tools category.
- Drive target profitability while developing and maintaining a rolling 3+ year strategic account plan
- Maintain strong relationships at all levels across the Key Account – Category / Buying / Merchandising, Marketing and Operations
- Deliver distribution and range (width and depth) expansion across the Measuring Tools category within Key Account
- Maintaining execution excellence via a strong future planning process with a rolling 18-month view of planned activities that is easy for the field team to execute including: events, Point of Sale and inspirational activities.
- Utilising advanced negotiation skills to win expanded ranging, promotional support, increase profitable turnover, improve margin/mix management, and excite the customer on Bosch programs
- Liaising with 3rd party merchandise organisations to deliver execution excellence, best in class results and whilst maintaining profitable collaboration between both parties.
- Consistent representation of Bosch values and “We Lead Bosch” principles with all stakeholders.
We are looking for a conscientious professional with the ability to work across multiple business units, manage diverse topics and priorities, establish effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
To be considered for this position you would ideally meet the following:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing – Desirable
- Driver’s licence
- Experience in a category / business Key Account role
- High level of trust and autonomy
- Professional attitude
- Have a strong results focused mindset
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Teamwork / Agile
- Data orientation for fact-based decision making
- Proficient in MS Office suite, advanced Excel, CRM, Tableau or similar reporting, SAP desirable
