The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Manager in Business Services, you'll work directly with clients to deliver high-quality services and build great relationships. You will work in a supportive and collaborative team and be offered professional development opportunities, a competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and preliminary review of financial statements, taxation returns, and tax plans for family groups and business clients.
- Managing additional statutory reporting requirements, including payroll tax
- Creating and implementing business cash flow, forecasting, and value-add reporting materials.
- Handling Business Activity Statements.
- Corresponding with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients.
- Providing support to the management team and mentoring junior staff.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major) or equivalent.
- CA/CPA qualification or nearing attainment.
- 4+ years of Business Services and taxation experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting, financial, and business principles.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
