ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager, this role is a senior position within our hardworking & highly motivated Portsea Hotel management team. Morris Hospitality is seeking both Assistant Venue Managers and a Venue Manager looking to grow their careers, and to make their mark at one of Australia's leading hotels.
To be considered for the position you must possess the following;
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound background in high quality, high volume food and beverage
- Passion for exceptional standards
- A drive to elevate the venue’s profile through outstanding product development and delivery
- Have all relevant industry certifications
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Ability to build, lead and motivate your team effectively
- A passion for food and a strong interest in industry trends
- Maintain superior standards of product consistently
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage large and complex teams
- H&L POS system, Ivvy function platform and room master knowledge a bonus
