Assistant Manager –
Food & Beverage will be responsible for assisting the Venues Manager and Restaurant Manager with the smooth and efficient operation of Langlands’ Restaurant & Bar, Events and In-Room Dining
Some of the responsibilities include:- Run and manage shifts in all outlets as required; buffet breakfast service, lunch and dinner a la carte and events
- To focus on guests and team member satisfaction and constantly looking at ways to improve the guest and team member experience via feedback channels
- Assist with the onboarding, training and development of team members, and implementation of training programs
- To monitor promotional tracking and reporting in a timely matter
- Ensure guest complaints are handled and communicated in a timely and satisfactory manner
Qualifications:About you:- Previous proven managerial experience in a premium restaurant or 5 star-hotel
- A current Victorian RSA Certificate
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, train and motivate team members
- A true foodie, with sound Victorian product knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement learning and development strategies and programs
- The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
