Cafe Arabica is a cafe and restaurant based on family traditions, servicing the local community with passion and grace, it an exciting working environment situated amongst the unmistakable natural backdrop of trees, flowers and bird so common to Redlands. We believe in the 'serving with a smile' concept. We have been here for over 27 years. We intend to evolve with the challenges of time and do better. We are looking for a new Assistant Manager to replace the current manager, who is changing career direction. This is a casual full-time job.
Qualifications & experience
- At least one year of experience in managing a cafe or restaurant.
- Cert II or III in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality is desirable but not essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- We are looking for a cafe Manager for an iconic busy cafe in Cleveland, Qld. The successful candidate should be able to work at least 35 hours a week and also can work weekends, know how to manage staff (including rostering and pay runs), be a barista (or certified cook), and have relevant experience working in a cafe, including managing a cafe in some leadership capacity.
