The Glenferrie Hotel is a successful, boutique Hotel in Hawthorn, offering quality events and dining destination. An exciting opportunity exists to join a small management team to assist in the daily operations.
If you have had a minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role and are ready to consolidate your skills, we would like to hear from you. You will be in charge of running the day to day operations with a "hands on" management style to ensure a smooth operation and deliver a high standard of customer service.
Applicants should note the following key requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role with a strong focus on food and beverage.
- Creating a positive venue experience, maintaining high standards with venue presentation and ensuring the venue is fully operational and compliant
- Strong focus on social media/marketing – experience essential.
- Accommodation experience preferred but not essential.
- TAB accreditation is preferred but not essential
- Ability to drive, motivate, lead and manage a team.
- Superior presentation and communication.
- Ensuring appropriate processes and procedures are followed by staff
- Sound product knowledge with a strong desire for further learning and development.
- Excellence in customer service and business management.
- Ensuring that the Glenferrie Hotel offers an exceptional and consistent level of service in a clean and professional environment
- Property and management compliance with all relevant laws, legislation and regulations.
- Computer literate.
This position requires flexibility and the willingness to work outside normal business hours. An excellent salary package will be offered to the suitable candidates.
