Pelican Waters Tavern is located on the scenic canals of Pelican Waters in Caloundra and offers a relaxed atmosphere for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of suburbia. We cater for families, couples, sneaky first dates or a special night out with friends and family. Our Family Bistro has an extensive menu in addition to kids and seniors menus to keep the whole family happy.
The Sports Bar offers a relaxed and friendly environment, perfect for catching up with friends or a casual drink soaking up the views from our large outdoor patio overlooking the water.

This is a brilliant opportunity to become an Assistant Manager at the Pelican Waters Tavern.
What you'll do:
- Be a motivational and inspiring leader, develop and train the team to ensure an exceptional guest experience every time
- Manage the day to day operations of the Venue - open/close, back of house administration, recruiting team members, rostering and assisting guests
- Bring your passion for good food and creating moments that matter for our guests
- Be creative - develop and grow the business through your own initiatives
What you'll need:
- Experience in hospitality management, especially in food, bars, and gaming, even if it's from a supervisor position
- Solid planning and organizational skills for leading and developing teams, perfect for someone ready to step into a management role
- Operational know-how to support the Venue Manager in hitting financial and business targets
- A keen understanding and ability to create memorable guest experiences.
- Qualifications for your journey: RSA, RSG, RMLV, and Approved Manager (we can assist you in obtaining your RMLV and Approved Manager licence).
