About the role...
The Crew at Rip Curl can live their Search and feel the spirit of surfing in their work, sharing their knowledge with our customers to help them follow their own personal search.
An opportunity in April 2024 to join our brand new Rip Curl store at Sydney's only surf park- Urbn Surf! We're on the search for a full time Assistant Manager to specialise in sales within surf hardware located in Sydney Olympic Park. The role is focused on supporting our customers in their surfboard, wetsuit and surf hardware needs, ensuring they receive expert product technical advice on their purchases.
You will be involved in;
- Ensuring the overall profitable operation and management of the store
- Leading by example in delivering exceptional customer service to our valued customers
- Driving results so sales targets are met and reporting results as required
- Rosters and staff recruitment and development
- Supporting your store manager in training and coaching your crew
- ensuring customers are supported with surf hardware needs and ensuring expert product knowledge on technical product.
You love surfing and are passionate about sharing product knowledge with our customers. To be considered for this role you will have extensive knowledge of surfboards, wetsuits and surf hardware which will enable you to connect with fellow surfers and provide the level of technical customer service required. If you are passionate about surfing and have a strong desire to see others living their search with the best surf products on the market, then we are confident that you will succeed in this role!
You must be available to work a roster that may include weekend and/or evening shifts. You will have great computer skills to confidently produce reports and most importantly have an affinity with surfing and the board riding lifestyle.
