Assistant Nurse Unit Manager – Renal

About the Role
Noosa Private Hospital has an opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager to join the team on a permanent part-time basis, 64 hours/fortnight in our Renal day unit of 6 chairs with private, public and holiday patients.
- Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will be leading the team in achieving quality patient outcomes in the Unit.
- This will involve day-to-day problem solving within the clinical setting and fostering a positive, friendly and supportive culture within our dedicated and professional nursing team.
- This is a direct leadership role, and you will be mentoring and supporting the front-line team members within their roles.
- Excellent and flexible work hours.
- Excellent team of established nurses.
About You
This role requires a compassionate individual with suitable skills and competence to work as part of our Renal team. To be successful you will have exceptional communication abilities and be dedicated to providing patient focused care.
You will also demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Renal
- Post grad qualifications desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain good working relations with consumers and physicians
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrates excellent time management, clinical problem solving and organisational skills.
- Management and leadership experience desired.
- Ability to effectively plan and manage material, financial and human resources
- Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement program
- Ability to apply research findings to clinical practice
