Our Company:
BJEI Australia was established in 2021 to build and operate a significant portfolio of clean energy projects across Australia. Sister company, BJCE Australia was formed in 2017, and currently has an operational 284MW clean energy portfolio.
Together, BJEI Australia and BJCE Australia have an interest in over 2GW of renewable energy generation and storage assets that are planned, under construction or in operation across three states, NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
BJEI Australia aims to build a 3GW portfolio of clean energy assets by 2025 and 6GW by 2030.
Since BJCE’s first investment in Australia in 2014, the Company has prioritised care and respect for the communities and environments where its projects are located.

About the role:
Due to BJEI’s expansion in Australia’s renewable industry, we are searching for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Operation Engineer to join our Asset and Operation team.
Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply for this role!
Your duties include but not limited to:
- Complete regular operational reports on time.
- Complete wind farm and solar farm performance analysis report on time.
- Power plant monitoring by SCADA, demonstrate ability to report and respond to operation exceptions.
- Conduct thorough analysis and reporting of power plant derating or faults.
- Perform operation reporting and monitoring during on call shifts, including on public holidays.
- Demonstrate proficiency in handling equipment failures on-site.
- Actively participate in team projects and initiatives.
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist other team members as needed.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy Technology or relevant field of study.
- Familiar with the principle of power generation in the renewable energy industry.
- Familiar with one or more software, skills:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Tableau, PowerBI
- C/C++/C#, Python, SQL
- Databases & Integration, PLC circuit, HMI/SCADA Applications, Computer Hardware will be highly regarded.
- The ability to build constructive partnerships with internal peers and functions to achieve business outcomes.
- Multi-tasking, hard-working, attentive, thoughtful.
- Proficiency in Chinese and English.
- Driving license.
