As our Operations Assistant / Office All Rounder you will be a key member of the Designer Tanks Team. Your role will have variety with scope to develop and learn.
You will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations. You will be directly supporting our Operations Manager assisting in the scheduling incoming jobs, responding to enquiries, assisting with organising purchase orders for materials & equipment, managing schedules for supervisors, trades and direct to customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Answering phone calls, emails and other forms of communication
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Operations assistance including scheduling, assisting service requests and purchasing
- Office assistance - data entry, small projects, and other administrative tasks.
- Liaising with contractors and assisting to maintain positive relationships with key builder clients

- Previous experience in an administrative or support role within the building/ construction industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Xero
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
- Exceptional time management skills are crucial to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist the operations team in all aspects of administration.
