We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant manager with relevant transferrable skills and experience from other industries at our beautiful property Dylene Holiday Park
Dylene Holiday Park is located in the historic coastal township of Portarlington on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Our guests enjoy great fishing, fantastic restaurants, and eateries, as well as some of Victoria’s finest wineries.
Dylene Holiday Park consists of a mixture of annual and tourist sites and has a range of accommodation options including cabins, powered caravan sites, and park facilities including a swimming pool.
Responsibilities of our Assistant Park Management (include but not limited to);
- Oversee and assist with organisation of all departments within the business, including reception, grounds & maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
- Manage after hours arrivals, concerns, night patrols, emergencies etc
- Maximise revenue opportunities.
- Social Media / Marketing
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Reporting responsibilities
- Seasonal Activities for guest enjoyment
- Prepared to undertake outdoor duties during busy periods.
Essential Skills / Qualities:
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role managing a similar style asset
- Proven and demonstrated experience in managing staff.
- Strong computer skills, especially in the MS Office Suite
- Previous experience with RMS or similar reservations systems
- Strong administrative and financial control experience
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Knowledge and understanding of WHS and responsibilities.
- Leads By Example / Hands on
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to go above and beyond to meet company objectives as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Must hold a current national police check and working with children check.
- Experience in the use of outdoor equipment associated & used in the business.
