We are seeking an Assistant Program Coordinator to join our team on a temporary (12 months), full-time basis. The role will be based at our .
We offer a competitive salary to the right candidate with salary range starting from $93,295 up to $102,941 per annum plus 11% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.

About the role
The Assistant Program Coordinator provides support to the Program Coordinator to deliver high quality services to a diverse range of customer groups.
In this role, you will be required to:

  • Provide high-quality customer service including; customer communication, responding to enquiries.
  • Customer liaison and provision of high quality customer service to a diverse range of customers.
  • Provide direct customer service and the facilitation of outdoor recreation, sport, and recreation activities.
  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all customers.
  • Ensure that client data is collected and input into systems; and that relevant customer reports and information are generated and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate a range of support services to meet the business needs of the unit including internal communication and collaboration with key groups including; Central Reservations Team, Operations Team, Policy and Planning group and local catering, cleaning, administration and service teams.
  • Support in the planning, development and delivery of a variety of programs and services.
About you
You will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, efficiently manage conflicting priorities while maintaining high standards of customer service. You will have excellent communication skills and will enjoy working with diverse stakeholders, remaining responsive and adaptive in the face of changing situations.
Essential requirements
  • Knowledge, skills and experience in a relevant field.
  • Order requirements.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance.
  • Current Class C drivers licence.
  • Ability to undertake on-call responsibilities on a rostered basis.
  • National Criminal Records Check.
The Office of Sport will conduct the NCRC and verify your WWCC if you are a preferred candidate.
