YOUR ROLE
The Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in delivering strategic initiatives across our Property Portfolio and is paramount to providing an exceptional workplace experience for our people. You'll enjoy a diverse role across a variety of impactful projects for the IAG Commercial Property Portfolio.
Reporting to the Project & Delivery Services Manager the role of Assistant Project Manager is ideal for individuals looking to showcase their commitment to excellence, passion for world leading workplace fit outs and motivated to deliver projects from end to end.
In this role you’ll work collaboratively within the Project Delivery team to plan, execute, transition to operations and close out projects. Key responsibilities include governance management, risk and financial management, resource coordination, project scheduling, reporting, safety monitoring and various procurement activities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors and approval authorities, is crucial to success. With a keen focus on addressing risks and issues as they arise, you will play a vital role in ensuring that projects meet quality, risk, safety and compliance standards to deliver on key business outcomes.

The successful candidate can be based in Sydney or Melbourne and must be available for a full-time 12-month fixed term position.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 3+ years’ industry work experience in Commercial Property, Facility Management, Construction projects and/or workplace relocations.
Eagerness to learn and a passion for the property and construction industry. With a specific keen interest in Project Management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong organisational, problem solving and time-management skills.
Developed skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint (essential)
Tertiary Degree in Project Management, Construction Management or related field
