The Role:
We are currently seeking a bright and ambitious Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager with between 3 – 5 years' experience (Contractor, Consultant or Developer side) to work on a variety of property and social infrastructure projects focused around the Melbourne Metro area. The role could support an existing project team or assist in conversion of one of our deep and broad pipeline of potential projects.
APP’s property and social infrastructure project sectors include; Education, Health, Aviation, Retail, Commercial (base building and/or workplace), Hospitality, Residential and Mixed-Use. We work for both developers and end-users to shape the spaces they will live, learn, and work into the future. The successful candidate will work flexibly, working from home, the APP office or working from project sites.
With projects for you to step straight into and a healthy pipeline, The APP Group will provide the work to keep you developing, engaged and challenged. Projects range across strategy & advisory, design definition, and delivery phases for a range of private and public clients. About You:
- Self-starting attitude and highly motivated with a keen desire to learn, develop and be a valued team member

- Consultative and active listener with exceptional communication skills
- Focused on client outcomes
- Demonstrated recent project management experience in commercial construction
- Demonstrated experience in built-form projects at a head contractor, developer, or consultancy firm
- Professional qualifications in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management would be seen favourably
- A strong business acumen, integrity, credibility, and professionalism
- Strong understanding in construction contracts and contract administration
