The Role
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Senior Project Officer to assist in the delivery of an upgrade program for housing within Sydney and regional NSW. You will be joining a growing team that is expanding due to new projects and funding for much needed dwellings and upgrades. This role will see you work on solar projects, installing air conditioners and replacing roofs as required.
You will work with the Project Manager and assist with project reporting, risk management, issues and budgets. You will ensure key project milestones are met, work with stakeholders, prepare project documentation, conduct site visits as required as well as oversee contract management.
The Person
The successful candidate will have:
- 3-5 years experience in client side project management
- Residential construction experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work within a team as well as autonomously
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 2-3 times a month
- Dynamic, work well in a changing environment
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to work closely with communities
