Our client is looking for a Assistant Project Officer to undertake a range of research, analysis, reporting and implementation activities
About the Role
- Provide project and administrative support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans and outcomes
- Assist the Energy Security and Emergency Management team to complete tasks and implement project plans, including collating equipment, documents and records regarding relevant issues to ensure projects comply with agreed project methodologies and that agreed outcomes are achieved.
- Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
- Develop and maintain liaison relationships between the Energy Security and Emergency Management teams key internal and external stakeholders by providing positive and efficient client service.
- Determine, develop, and manage processes for administration and the flow of work for the Unit ensuring streamlined and effective outcomes.
- Coordinate and manage logistical tasks in relation to operational tasks, activities, and equipment.
- Provide confidential executive support to the Director including preparation of correspondence, reports, presentations and other essential documentation.
- Proven experience in providing project and administrative support, ensuring adherence to project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Adept at collating equipment, documents, and records to ensure project compliance and successful outcomes.
- Skilled in basic research and analysis, contributing to the preparation of project briefs for informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive liaison relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to determine, develop, and manage processes for streamlined and effective unit outcomes.
