The Opportunity
- Support and manage financial operations related to CBRE trust accounts. The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Financial control – ensuring trust accounts are maintained in accordance with legislative requirements, liaising with external auditors, overseeing property transitions, reviewing monthly bank reconciliations, and preparing bank fee recoveries etc
- Review Property Trust account balance on a weekly basis, prepare monthly management fee reconciliations and wages recoveries reconciliations
- Property Financial Reporting – performing all necessary reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow analysis and income statements for properties under management
- Preparation of prepayments schedule where requested by clients
Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA/CA Qualified or studying towards it
- Previous experience within property accounting or trust accounting is highly advantageous but not a must
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and organisational skills to be able to thrive in a busy environment
- Superior communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
