Your responsibilities will include:-
- Manual data entry into Xero.
- Accurately and timely maintenance of all journals, ledgers and Balance Sheets.
- Account reconciliation.
- Accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconciliation of customer payments and trading terms.
- Keep up to date with multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely. payments and accurate outgoing transactions.
- Provide management with updates on expected incoming and outgoing payments.
- Assist in month-end closing processes.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Fortnight Process payroll and manage tax-related matters.
- Preparation of BAS, Payroll, PAYG withholding/super
The successful candidate will have:-
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Proven experience in Accounting.
- General Administrative duties.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Setup and maintenance of suppliers.
- Customer credit control and debt collection.
- Property Management - Download and analyze reports and flag significant deviations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll
