As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Australian public practice. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality accounting and business services to our clients and will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including but not limited to:
- Preparing financial statements and management reports
- Providing tax planning and compliance services
- Preparing BAS, IAS and other forms required for compliance
- Advising clients on various business matters
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public practice accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks…etc) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organised
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
