Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team and assist in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Venue Manager & Operations Manager to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all aspects of the restaurant, including customer service, staff management, and financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Venue Manager in supervising and coordinating daily restaurant operations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold company standards.
- Oversee the scheduling and deployment of staff to meet operational needs.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining proper stock levels.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the restaurant.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and timely delivery of orders.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for exceeding guest expectations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as MS Office.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
