Assistant State Manager

Our client Stewart & Heaton is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant State Manager to join their team in Beverly, South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to define and meet product and service expectations.
• Implement processes and systems to enhance quality, scope, and efficiency.
• Monitor contract profitability and prepare monthly reports for customer management.
• Prepare tenders and quotations for new and existing customers.
• Collaborate with suppliers on pricing and performance issues.
• Support and monitor Contracts & Sales staff performance.
• Delegate tasks as needed and assist with HR issues.
• Work in compliance with S&H Core Values and Integrated Management System.
• Promote and ensure adherence to quality products and services.

 
Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Excellent numerical abilities
• Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office at an Intermediate level.
• Previous experience in customer service and commercial operations.
• Demonstrated project and contract management skills.
• Ability to negotiate and formalize agreements.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Tertiary qualifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with QHSE and safe work practices.
• Valid driver's license.
• National Criminal History Check.
