About the Opportunity
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will report to the Retail Operations Manager and take charge of the daily operations of our outlet store. You will train and manage a team of retail associates, ensuring store KPIs are met, and products are merchandised according to brand guidelines. Your role includes:
- Leading a team in alignment with Arc’teryx Vision, Purpose, and Values.
- Overseeing floor operations including experience, product, community, operations, and people.
- Training and coaching a high-performing team to deliver best-in-class guest experiences.
- Driving store profitability by achieving sales targets and managing expenses.
- Overseeing product/inventory management and visual merchandising.
About You
We are looking for a hands-on operator with a passion for retail and sporting goods. The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2-3 years of retail management experience.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to embrace change and deliver results.
- A passion for service and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- The ability to set a clear vision, align the team, and foster commitment.
- Proven ability to lead and execute projects independently.
- An unwavering commitment to do what is right and continuously evolve to achieve great results.
- Strong communication skills to manage time and problem-solving effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A product-obsessed approach and a desire to learn how our products perform.
