The role
As Assistant Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting management in delivering safe, compliant, and successful operations while fostering teamwork and skill development of the crew.
- Leading a crew of farmhands in daily operations
- Providing guidance and support to the crew by setting clear expectations and goals, training, and providing feedback
- Ensure compliance with all safety processes and operating procedures, actions, and call out any unsafe acts or room for improvement
- Support your manager to create a great place to work, including fostering open communications and promoting TOC values in all that you do
About you
- Excellent safety record and focus
- Solid farmhand skills
- Good communication and leadership skills, developed within TOC or outside
- Desire to role model TOC values
- Willing and able to give feedback to others to build skills and teamwork
This position is classified as a Level 4 Farmhand, and is paid an annual base salary of $60,457 as per the Shellfish Culture Enterprise Agreement 2010.
