AddressWe are looking for a part time Cellar Door Supervisor to join and guide our small team at Aphelion Wines in McLaren Vale.
We are looking to welcome someone into our team who is passionate about wine, elicits repeat custom from our guests, and has excellent attention to detail. You will be someone who is valued for being responsible, reliable, and who can work independently as well as alongside the rest of our group.
Weekend and public holidays work is required. Availability during the busy Christmas – early January period is essential, as is availability during the vintage months (February – April).

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- - Maximise the visitation experience in the Aphelion Cellar Door and ensure all visitors receive a premium experience executed with a high-level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- - Act as a brand ambassador, hosting tastings with a high degree of professionalism, displaying superior wine, brand and regional knowledge.
- - Actively drive sales of the company's wine products in line with monthly and annual targets
- - Packing and sending Cellar Door and online orders ensuring accuracy and timely delivery,
- - Cellar Door operations including opening and closing procedures, cash management, bookings, customer enquiries, stock management, customer databases, marketing materials and ensuring a high standard of presentation and hygiene are being adhered to.
- - Rostering and Team supervisory experience (including identifying & employing talent).
What You Need To Have:
- - Demonstrable wine knowledge and previous industry experience is a must, as is a current RSA, driver’s licence, and wine qualification minimum WSET Level 2 or equivalent.
- - Previous experience within a similar role and responsibilities as above.
