The company is a well established in the Inner West of Sydney styling properties being placed on the market for sale.
This position is an entry level position for a person wishing to enter the work force and for whom working between the hours of 7am and 1 pm Monday to Friday suits their lifestyle.
No experience is required, however, the position could suit someone with an interest in developing interior design skills and assistance in that regard could also be provided to a person exhibiting potential.
The position is offered initially on a casual basis, however, subject to performance, could lead to a permanent position.
The applicant must be fit and free of any health issues that may prevent carrying out the following activities required to assist the Senior Property Stylist:-
- Packing cushions and accessories for styling jobs and and the same when required to be collected once the property as sold (subject to OH&S safety limits).
- Attending on jobs to assist installing the styling and then collecting the styling once the property is sold (no heavy lifting of furniture is required).
- Light cleaning and tidying jobs
- Assisting with minor furniture and accessory repair with supervision.
- Be willing and able to drive a small van (training will be provided)
The applicant must have the following assets:
- Be an Australian citizen or have legally valid residency status/and or work visa. Documentary evidence will be required at interview. Short term visitors will not be considered.
- Have an NSW car licence or legally recognised equivalent with no demerit points. Documentary evidence will be required at interview.
- Preferably have their own vehicle and be prepared to use their own vehicle on odd occasions between work hours with appropriate reimbursement as per ATO requirements
- Absolutely reliable to be at work on time from 7am to 1pm because they are depended upon.
- Must have a pleasing manner, accept directions and be able to work as part of a team.
