Transport Public Bar - on the ground floor of Transport Hotel at Federation Square is pumping! Whether it be our live music, game days, or the DJ's throughout the week - there is always something going on.
Right in the vibrant hub of Melbourne’s CBD, Public Bar is a launching pad for a truly Melbourne day or night out. Catch a game on the big screens, listen to some of Melbourne’s best live music or simply enjoy the view from one of our 3 outdoor areas overlooking the Yarra river, Federation Square and Flinders street.
As we kick start 2024 we are now looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our team.
The Role
We are all about serving great food and beverages in a fun environment with, humour and expertise – in one of the city's best locations.
You will help to manage the bar and floor team, evolve the beverage list and work to create a fun and engaging environment for our guests and staff.
As part of the leadership team, you will also help drive sales, develop, train and mentor staff.
The Successful Candidate
We are looking for ‘pub natural’ that has an outgoing and relaxed style, with solid pub experience under their belt.
With a hands-on approach, you will nurture and develop your team whilst maintaining a fun yet organised work environment.
