The Star Sydney is currently accepting applications for Assistant Managers.
As a leader, you will be working closely with Venue Managers leading your team to deliver the daily operations of the venue.
Venues we are recruiting for:

Events
A few of your responsibilities
Assist Venue Manager to lead and support achievement of financial and operational targets
Oversee operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management
Oversee and drive marketing strategies and sales incentives
Assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of service standards and standard operating procedures
Ensure that all areas of the business comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol program and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act
Demonstrate The Star’s values
Assist in managing the selection, training and development of all employees to ensure timely recruitment and career growth
Demonstrate to guests and team member a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation and delivery of The Star Qualities at all times
What are we looking for?
Management experience within in a similar large busy environment, with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages
Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses
Exceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests
Highly organised and eager, with a high attention to detail
Current RSA Statement of Attainment
Flexible availability for work over a 7 day roster
