The CommBank Health Product team is focussed on developing innovative products and services for healthcare customers. This includes the tailoring of core banking products and services for the health segment, as well as the delivery of technology solutions such as CommBank Smart Health, Australia’s first truly end-to-end digital health claim solution for Doctors, Dentists, Optometrists, Physiotherapists and other healthcare providers. The Product team currently consists of over 60 members across strategy, partnerships, product and project managers, business analysts, UX specialists, software engineers and testers working on a roadmap of technology solutions and enhancements.
CommBank Health sits within Business Banking (BB) which offer a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, Enterprise customers and our Regional and Agribusiness customers.

In this role you will take ownership of Scrum within two Squads of CommBank Health domain as we work on several Technology initiatives that will help our customers and communities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take our Squads from “Norming to Performing” stage. Your role, but not limited to, will be focussed on -
Application of techniques and tooling to drive effective Planning within the Squad
Increasing Squad effectiveness by aiding the Squad to identify, raise and remove internal and external blockers.
Facilitation of continuous improvement by leveraging Retro feedback, Sprint learnings, experience, and through processes established within existing Teams.
Coordinating closely with the Product Owner and Project Manager in the Squad to ensure planned delivery targets are met and key stakeholder impacts are managed successfully.
Coaching, supporting, and uplifting Squad capability in Agile delivery processes.
Driving self-organisation and cross-skilling within the Squad.
Coaching and influencing change to increase the flow of valuable outcomes through the Squad.
Embedding an inspect-and-adapt culture by helping establish relevant metrics across the Squads.
Coaching key stakeholders on how to use defined metrics as a diagnostic tool to identify improvement opportunities.
Supporting Teams to scale and consistently adopt emerging best practices.
Participating and providing support to the Agility Practice
We are interested in hearing from people who
Possess strong Scrum Master experience and have proven experience in taking the Squads from “Norming to Performing”.
Have experience in coaching teams to deliver multiple initiatives.
Have proven experience in using JIRA (Advanced Roadmaps etc), advance Confluence.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Possess experience in Technology projects.
Have influencing skills – able to impact change across multiple stakeholder groups.
Ability to solve complex problems.
