Responsibilities- Prepare forward-looking credit memos, as well as the relevant financial modelling, to provide risk assessment perspectives on new transactions as well as existing clients and industries.
- Keep track of market and industry trends, as well as their implications for clients.
- Internal credit ratings should be recommended and monitored.
- Interact with key stakeholders, such as clients and product bankers.
- Prepare and keep track of various credit and regulatory reporting obligations; and assist the team with ad hoc initiatives and workstreams that arise on a regular basis.
- Credit process management following the financial close and first draw-down while implementing ongoing credit monitoring procedures
- Control management and internal customer service
- Advising and assisting internal stakeholders in regards to new transactions
- Undertaking preparation work for and in response to internal and external audits
- Active portfolio management including asset and portfolio valuation and analysis
Requirements- 7+ years experience in structured finance, corporate banking or credit risk
- Tertiary qualification in a business related industry
- Strong financial analysis and credit skills
- Strong Financial Modelling and Portfolio/Asset Valuation Modelling
- Excellent communication skills, and stakeholder relationship skills
- Strong influencing skills both in writing through presenting a persuasive argument and verbally when handling objections
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
