Associate Director Market Access
About the role

In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operational aspects of the Market Access team, including strategy development, operational implementation, and functional leadership. Your key responsibilities will include:• Overseeing and guiding optimal Market Access for our innovations, whether at the federal or state level, by identifying and leveraging the most effective channels.• Shaping the lifecycle Market Access strategy for our innovations to optimize Novartis Australia's growth. This will involve providing support in pipeline assessment, developing submission strategies, and managing the lifecycle of our products.• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level to support Novartis Australia in achieving its Market Access objectives. This will include working on internal access strategy and pricing approvals, engaging with Medicines Australia, and participating in engagements and negotiations with the Department of Health.• Providing oversight of the operational management of submissions, including ensuring submission deadlines are met and maintaining quality assurance.• Managing and developing a team of Market Access managers and associate Market Access managers, including providing line management support and fostering their professional growth.• Acting as a senior cross-functional liaison with key internal stakeholders, such as medical, regulatory, public affairs, patient engagement, communications, and commercial teams.• Providing oversight and contributing to the design of customized access projects that align with Novartis Australia's Market Access goals.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:• Influential leadership skills, with the ability to engage, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
