THE ROLE
As the Associate Director, Perioperative Service, you would be responsible for leading and overseeing all operational aspects of the perioperative nursing services across our main theatres, Endoscopy Suites, Angiography Laboratories and the Central Sterilising Department. This leadership role operatives within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework, ensuring care is delivered in line with clinical standards and best practice principles.

About You
You will have demonstrated operational knowledge and success as a senior perioperative nurse in a not for profit or private healthcare setting working with sustainable and measurable financial KPIs. While the sustainability of our business is important you will understand how to balance this with improved patient and staff experience outcomes. Due to the fast moving environment MQ Health operates within you will be comfortable making key decisions in a timely manner that balances all aspects of our business and key stakeholders.

Postgraduate tertiary qualifications in business management or a relevant field with significant recent experience in operational hospital management role in a private or not for profit healthcare setting
Experience in operational nursing management of a theatre complex providing a range of clinical specialties
Experience in the management of financial KPIs a not for profit private healthcare setting
Demonstrated capacity to integrate the principles of clinical governance, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice, patient centred care and practice development into delivery of contemporary nursing services.
Demonstrated ability to making key decisions in a timely manner that reflect a fast moving environment
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partnerships with key business stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of the senior leadership team, contributing to hospital strategic and operational planning.
