Associate Director, Program Operations

- Clerk Grade 11/12 with a starting salary of $139,787
- Temporary 12-month, role based in Sydney, NSW
Lead a specialist team to operate innovation programs delivered by the NSW Government specialising in project management, operational governance, managing client and beneficiary communications and day to day management of Government led innovation services. The role works collaboratively with teams in Ecosystem Development, Precinct Development, Program Launch & Assessment and Contract Management to assure Program Operations are client-centric and delivered with high quality and cost efficiency to support the targeted outcomes of the NSW Government Strategies.
- Lead and oversee Program Operations with either internal NSW Govt resources or 3rd party program delivery partners including the implementation of management of appropriate operational governance frameworks.
- Develop high quality program operation plans through close engagement with stakeholders. Provide information services to program clients and/or beneficiaries to optimise awareness program, comprehension of program eligibility and adoption of program support.
About You?
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Stakeholder management expertise and experience navigating through government processes combined with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive operational performance in complex, politically and commercially sensitive environment.
- Demonstrated advanced level of project management skills, and experience in managing diverse and complex projects and activities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and influencing and mobilising others to achieve outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
- Experience in large scale Program Operations, management or related discipline.
