About the Role
This is a Permanent Full Time position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Quality department. An exciting new opportunity exists to lead quality across the RCH. Three newly created positions designed to drive contemporary quality systems to support patient safety, patient and family experience and clinical excellence are available. The three new Associate Directors of Quality will provide support to the Director of Quality to lead, coordinate and prioritise the work within their quality stream, and strengthen collaboration with clinical and corporate divisional partners.
Classification for this position will range from A081-A085 ($118.898 - $131,216.80 base salary per annum, plus superannuation)
What You’ll Achieve
Associate Director Quality – Clinical Excellence
- A focus on Supporting the RCH to deliver high quality, safe care and success with relevant accreditation schemes.
- Oversight of RCH quality systems including policy procures and PROMT governance.
- Leadership and support of the RCH committees that support high quality, safe care.
- Clinical governance support for the Division of Surgery.
- Quality and improvement support of the corporate finance division.
Associate Director Quality – Patient Safety
- A focus on Supporting the RCH to deliver high quality, safe care and success with relevant accreditation schemes.
- Oversight of RCH quality systems including adverse patient safety events management and Victorian Hospital Incident Management System (VHIMS) governance.
- Leadership and support of the RCH committees that support high quality, safe care.
- Clinical governance support for the Division of Critical Care and Ambulatory Care.
- Quality and improvement support of the People and Culture and Strategy, Planning and Performance Divisions.
Associate Director Quality – Patient Experience
- A focus on Supporting the RCH to deliver high quality, safe care and success with relevant accreditation schemes.
- Oversight of RCH quality systems including Consumer feedback management and patient experience governance.
- Leadership and support of the RCH committees that support high quality, safe care.
- Clinical governance support for the Division of Medicine.
- Quality and improvement support of the Communications Division.
Your Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated leadership at a senior level within a tertiary healthcare setting.
- Postgraduate qualifications in a related field (preferably at Masters level).
- Relevant industry experience and proven ability in building high functioning teams.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), preparation of briefing reports and presentation skills.
