Job description

Job Description
Infrastructure problems are becoming more complex, calling for more sophisticated and better-integrated solutions. These opportunities require new ways of thinking. Our Commercial Advisory and Transactions group provides commercial, financial, transaction management and strategic advice to clients for their major infrastructure projects.
Our Real Estate & Places team within this group supports the ongoing growth and regeneration of our cities by helping clients work through the complexities of their Real Estate and place strategies, projects, and transactions.
Your Opportunity – Manager or Associate Director
Forming part of the Real Estate and Place team, the Manager or Associate Director role will play a key role in supporting our opportunities in the market by:
Supporting large-scale urban renewal projects with commercial and financial advice.
Delivering precincts tied to many of Australia’s largest and most complex Real Estate, place, and infrastructure projects.
Managing client engagements, coaching, and developing junior staff and client resources, and supporting market growth opportunities.
Assisting clients in the assessment, analysis, valuation, and procurement of assets to support their financial, commercial, service delivery, and corporate objectives.
Collaborating with KPMG specialists across a range of disciplines (i.e., tax, legal, finance, economics, valuations, M&A, engineering, planning and urban design) to provide integrated solutions for our clients.
Our team is embedded within the Infrastructure, Asset & Places group and is differentiated by our experience across all aspects of the Real Estate and place life cycle and connected with KPMG’s wider specialised service offering for these sectors.
How are you extraordinary?
You are confident in your financial and commercial analytical skills to support city-shaping investment choices for our clients.
You are skilled in developing and delivering commercial advice on complex transactions, business cases, pre/feasibility studies, options analysis, and financial models to support client transactions and projects.
You have a passion and a unique perspective to make positive impact on our urban environment.
You want to deliver some of Australia’s most significant Real Estate, urban renewal and precinct and place infrastructure projects, contributing to Australian’s future prosperity.
Your Experience
At KPMG, we believe diversity of thought, background and experience strengthens relationships and delivers meaningful benefits to our people, our clients, and communities. You will bring to the team your qualifications, skills & experience such as:
Proven recent experience across (or a strong interest in) the Real Estate, mixed use development, place and placemaking environments, with a focus on investment and decision-making areas.
Providing strategic, commercial, financial advice and develop financial models.
Preparing briefing documentation for tenders, submissions, and investor memorandums, running financial models, supporting transaction strategy and analysis.
Preparing client deliverables, business cases, feasibility studies, reports, presentations, or financial assessments to support client outcomes.
Recent professional experience in corporate advisory, management consultancy or similar environments.
Opportunities across our teams are flexible and include full-time, part-time or job share arrangements. Talk to our team about how we can support you to thrive with us and find a working arrangement that makes sense for your life!
