This role is a salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $ 139,787 - $ 161,663 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and Innovation to focus on addressing housing supply and infrastructure capacity to meet growth. You will support evidence-based policy development including those set out in the State Infrastructure Strategy and State Infrastructure Plan.
Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:
- Lead the analysis and review of planning, housing-enabling and growth infrastructure issues to inform advice and implement pragmatic solutions to improve state infrastructure outcomes and priorities.
- Plan, manage and monitor key written deliverables and implementation of infrastructure policy initiatives and work plans in a fast-paced environment with evolving workstreams.
- Lead Undertake a range of analysis (e.g. data, policy, regulatory, best practices and market trends) and prepare visualisations for communication to senior executives in Government, and contribute to publications.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to allow the gathering of information and analysis, and influence policy outcomes.
About You
The ideal candidate will a hold tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline. You will possess a deep understanding of NSW Government policy and the industry related to Planning and housing-enabling infrastructure. Additionally, you will have experience working with government and industry stakeholders on complex planning, housing, and infrastructure matters, demonstrating your capability to navigate and influence these critical areas effectively.
Moreover, you will possess strong organisational skills, adept at meeting deadlines and thriving in dynamic environments along with exceptional communication skills, and adept stakeholder management, collaborating seamlessly across various levels and locations.
