The role:
The purpose of this role is to successfully establish, lead and manage the standards, processes and controls to support the successful governance and performance of Financial Crime Operations Transformation Roadmap.
The role and day-to-day will include :
- Coordinating and overseeing transformation planning, financial management and reporting, capacity and resource management and change control processes across the programs.
- Ensure execution of initiatives aligns with transformation objectives, including implementing and maintaining progress reporting against key commitments in the FCO Transformation Roadmap
- Coordinating with multiple stakeholders to align reporting and governance commitments and priorities.
- Develop reporting and transparency on progress of the roadmap, including any changes or decisions made.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, transparency and excellence in governance and execution alignment.
- Ensure process, controls and standards exist and are adhered to for delivery transparency.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of Transformation operations and processes where possible.
What you will bring:
- Experience within a consulting environment or the banking & finance industry with an understanding of Financial Crime operations and risks environment
- Previous experience within delivery or governance teams driving continuous improvement and performance.
- Experience working in Agile at scale environment, with particular focus on hybrid and Agile delivery models.
- Confident communication and influencing skills, ability to liaise with a varied stakeholder set across business and technology.
- Strong story-telling capabilities to clearly articulate the journey across the transformation, status updates, priorities, risks and issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, adaptive environment and navigate ambiguity with ease.
- Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity with a focus on generating expected outcomes.
- Highly resilient with ability to work effectively autonomously.
